More than 30 years ago, the Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) washed itself into our hearts. This era was an important part of the development of German pop music culture. In the charts, which were otherwise dominated by English-language music, suddenly dominated this fresh German pop music with cheeky lyrics. Nena even made it to No. 1 on the US Billboard charts with 99 balloons. Now it is finally time for us to celebrate this great fun and party music once again and make it usable for physical education. So: "Gib Gas und hab Spaß"!
